Post.
It's been a while.

I was kind of planning to go on exams blog-hiatus
but who am I kidding
I am going to be on the computer until someone from Lit comes online and can tell me how long the ****ing reflections are supposed to be, anyway.
*shrugs*

Anyway
lit play is over
it went okay~~
um
mostly.
^^;;;;

We tried to rehearse at 3
but the pink bear called Buttons was too popular
and basically the stuffed toys kept getting snatched
and that annoying orange ball kept bouncing around
and some people had to keep laughing
and halfway through things started degenerating into confusion.

Not that there was anything wrong with our group.
It was just that Clarice got something spilled on her again
(I have never seen such a person for getting things spilled on herself. It's like she's magnetic.)
and then Ji and Ruth were saying that jackets got dried by hanging on the window-pegs (?)
so they tried to handcuff Clarice to the window-pegs with a tie
so the guys noticed (and it looked v v wrong too)
and started getting....excited
and joining in
and by the end you couldn't tell who was harassing who
and it was damn hard to get through the crowd
and LYH had to ask me what BDSM stands for even though he probably should know already. Doesn't being a guy in our class automatically guarantee that you know everything in that general area already?
*shrugs*
anyway things were somewhat confused
and I was kind of yelling my lines or anyway projecting my voice v loud
and Zong Yao was telling me not to yell
(omgwtf I typed his name as Zong Yaoi)
but otherwise I couldn't quite hear myself
and Yoru-senpai kept screwing up the music because he couldn't hear us either.

But Shankari brought cookie-ish things which were v v nice.
Must tell her to bring them for class chalet.
If we've even booked it.
(Mr Cheong came into the classroom and started talking about some date being confirmed and I thought he was talking about class chalet but it turned out he was talking about math exam. DDDDD= must mug)
This evening I mugged chem
I think I revised everything except redox
I don't like redox....

So yeah.
For the reading days, I plan to mug like crazy.
=D
Only way I'll pass, you know, ANYTHING.

Although I didn't do too badly for chem quiz. ^^

Meanwhile, life is confusing on multiple fronts; some stuff that I don't know what to think about, some mixed signals from someone I just got to make friends with, then the opposite problem from another friend...

Plus that *********************** *spams asterisks* Vivian firstly agreed to help with sound and lighting, secondly didn't turn up for practice, and thirdly refused to come help when I asked her just before the performance, right after the farewell assembly.

Farewell assembly was sad D=
although it was funny when the montage-thing was lagging or something
I don't want to not see Henpai anymore
and I swear it sounded like they said Maisuke was going to the south pole
Maybe?
If so I'll ask him for photos

Saw Henpai today though.
Except it was just for dance practice I think because he's going to Japan with the group of exchange students and they're dancing the hare hare yukai...
but Vivi and I couldn't stop and talk because we were rushing off to Japanese listening compre
for which I didn't die.

Also apparently Ji wrote a romantic descriptive essay on her blog about Mush and Ze.
Then Yi Xuan started overreacting and throwing stuff or something
and she said something like how he just wanted to be the one in the essay instead of Ze.
But what I think is that for all we know he might want to be the one in the essay instead of Mush.

I don't like mugging for history.

I also have to remember to call Ri-chan about helping me set up my laptop
and also I have to mug Chinese
because I can't remember how to write an official letter or whatever that is.
We have to do letter-writing for the exam, right?

Also I have to get my Lit costume ironed
and do the 2 history essay questions for homework
and eat lunch.

How is History useful at all?
I mean, science might be worth it when I'm older, math is always going to come in handy to some degree, english is for communication and chinese and japanese are for not-so-good communication, etcetcetc, but wtf is the point of learning history?

^^;;;;;

Also I didn't like Polya AT ALL.
(Mr Cheong is saying we can't criticise the school on our blogs, but if it spends a ridiculous amount of time teaching us patently useless things and then grades us on them, what are we supposed to do?)
(Yes, I hate Polya. I generalised the problem because the guy keeps saying to generalise. Then because the generalisation was inaccurate, they took off marks for the solution itself. ><)
(And because it's worth repeating, I HATE POLYA. What sort of test grades you on your ability to follow the rules and systems laid down to control creative thinking?)


So I spent a long time filling in the feedback form and writing about how much I disliked the course and how useless it was, but I don't particularly feel like handing it in.
Oh well.

Yoru-senpai is keeping the soft toys for my class's lit play. He's also helping out with the lights and music and voiceovers. =DDDDD

also omgwtf someone remind me to bring Cash's acid-base notes on monday because I seem to have accidentally taken them home DDD=

It's freaking late.
At least by my standards.

I've been running around the house madly for the past one-and-three-quarter hours getting all my Lit stuff together.
Which is why I couldn't respond to people trying to talk to me

On account of wanting to stalk Gackt.
When I was talking to Awa she thought Gackt was female.
Also I'm bored
and sleepy

I like ice peach tea.
How do you say that in Japanese anyway?
Because I'm pretty sure it's not koori momo cha.

I phailded.

Then we played cards for an incredible amount of time.
And I kept losing.

Yay.
Then I won.

Then I lost.
Then I lost.
Then I won.

Then eventually I went to Japanese class.
Some people presented.
I didn't.
I have to present on Thursday.
That means I have to type a lot tomorrow.

Firstly, what's with lit?
The critical response was due on the 8th and Ms Koh didn't so much as tell me it was overdue.

so I don't think anyone in Lit will be able to tell me wtf is going on.

I mugged for History a bit though.
And Candice lives in a box.

Also fireworks spew the cold night air, my argumentative essay apparently sucked (but I don't care because zomg it was so much fun to write) and bombs like to boomz with a loud boomz.

Ms Lam thought Bryan's group invented the black eyed peas.

Ms Lam: I thought that was some kind of bean.....

Also I have to remember to type up and email my essay to Ms Lam.
The essay was about Shihouin Yoruichi.
From Bleach.
Because they told us to write about our favourite TV/cartoon character.
She isn't strictly my favourite, but what the heck.
Easier to write about her than Tatsuki, I didn't want to write about Renji, Deidara is insane, Itachi is a mass murderer, Gokudera smokes and acts like he's gay for Tsuna, Akito is freaky, Shigure is perverted, Kallen was only my second choice to write about....
*shrugs*

But he got mad when I called him that.

And Vivi's busy making avatars for gaia online and is ditching our joint manga project.

At any rate it's just as well, since one needs to mug and stuff.

It's been a long time since I last posted.

Yoru-senpai has gone off on a class outing and apparently spent all of last night cycling with his class and didn't sleep till 5am.
Which is scary.

Literature play has been going mostly okay, although Arif is a bit exaggerated, we haven't memorised it all, and I REALLY need to remember to bring props tomorrow.

Math is as awful as it's been since we started using Polya. Seriously, I gave an alternative solution, I gave an extension, and they gave me 0 for both areas. What's their problem?
More importantly, why are we doing this Polya stuff in the first place??

I also have to bring stationery tomorrow since I lost everything and have been borrowing from people and seem to have managed to inadvertantly lose a couple of pens.

oh welllll

life is mostly okay.
We were listening to music in Chinese class.
Because there was this thing where we had to guess the lyrics
and then Yang Yi was talking about being suddenly hit by a tooth or something
and basically it was all very brain-explode-y.

Also Vivi and Claire should stop kyaaaa-ing, because seriously, wtf. ^^;;;;;;


Also Mr Cheong was going through math test in ACE.

Also I did all of my math assignment 5 during that period of time.
I hope I did okay.

Today was track.
Xing Jing owes me ice cream.
Vivian thought I was pronouncing Xing Jing's name as Shinji.
Which is freaky.

Xing Jing's idea of slacking is annoying.


Also we saw Yoru-senpai and Vivian turned up and not much else happened after CCA

CCA itself was okay, since we didn't have to do stepdown
hurdles are fun
Dayna finally figured out how to do it

Before CCA I think we played Hearts and Bridge and Daidi.
I won at Daidi for the first two times today.

Also Vivi showed me how to use bluetooth on my phone.
I can now use bluetooth on my phone.


Also, I don't like the new math classes.

Everything is ridiculously easy to solve,
but they insist that we use their ridiculously complicated methods,
even when we have clearly got the answer it doesn't count if it's not simple enough for an idiot to read,
and if it's an answer they don't already have written down, they practically laugh at it EVEN WHEN IT'S CORRECT.

Without the supercomplicatedthingy they want, why not just use brute force method?
Well, because, you know, the people around here might actually want an EXPLANATION as to how the damn thing works.

There is no working printer in this house.

Which shouldn't be a problem because one can use email,
but Ms Lam changed the rules
and says we can't email anything

On a darker note, I lost my thumbdrive and had to start from scratch.
Oh well.
Vivi promised to email me a lot of nice pictures
so I'm happy.

On an entirely unrelated note, Vivian's yaoi folder on her com is called something like 'Don't open this. Seriously.' =DDD

Today I think Mr Lim fell down a lot.

And I was looking for Russell or someone who took Lit last semester to ask about the play
but oh well
actually I did find Sean Seet, but I had forgotten by then.

I think my Literature class participation grade would improve if I talked less.

My sisters had their flu shots and have allergic reactions and swelling and Kathy didn't do her homework and I have to wake up early in the morning to help.

But then again I was so sleepy today I had to buy Mocha Breeze
(then I couldn't finish it and left it outside class under my jacket, but that's a different story)
so I won't be getting much sleep anyway.

For the 7, apart from the Annual Halloween Party, it appears we're seizing the random excuse to have another party on the 5th November or thereabouts with sparklers and such.

At any rate it'll be fun.

=DDDD today in history Mr Lim finally caught Daryl and KM...doing stuff in class.
The epic quotes are all on Yu Han's blog though.
At any rate it was funny.

Also when there was this random crash Jit Wu was like, Mr Lim fell down!!
Then everyone died laughing.
Of course that wasn't in History though...^^;;;;

In Physics class we learnt the epic-ness of the SHOEHORSE magnet.
Don't blame me if I end up flunking.

Also school today was fun~~
Went off with Vivian to this shopping mall near school before CCA that we don't actually know the name of and spent 5 minutes plus convincing ourselves that the comics con had moved out before we actually found it.

Then I bought 2 posters.
=DDDDD
One Suzumiya Haruhi one with Yuki and Mikuru and Haruhi on this bench or something, and one Bleach one with Urahara and Hiyori because it was cuuuute.
I liked the one with Yoruichi and young! Byakuya more but
a) Vivian has it already
b) Yoruichi is showing too much cleavage to be stuck on the wall in a room I share with my sister
c) young Byakuya is actually kind of weird-looking.

We had a few more for considering but we ditched them.
=D
(Vivian bought three on Wednesday.)

Also then we went to the Coffee Bean where there was this students' discount that made buying large cheaper than buying regular so there was this long thing where I struggled with my student pass only to be reminded by our dear Vivi-chan that we were already wearing school uniforms.

Then I mostly had to pay for hers.
Then track was hurdles. Which were fun. I only knocked down one or two. Less than Xing Jing. Muahahahahaha
Then stepdown training which wasn't. Fun. At. All.
To the uninitiated, stepdown might sound easy. Or, you know, slack.
Kindly ditch that idea immediately.
=D

Stepdown training involves running 400m, then 350 m, then 300m, and so on to 100m. With not a long break in between either.

So I pwned the 250m that was in the middle and just sat down.
Stomach cramps from drinking too much water.
Blah.

Also Yoru-senpai, Naomi wants to know where you got the orange Kit-Kat so we can have them for the annual Halloween party tradition we have.

This year's is at Naomi's place.
I hope everyone can make it.
I don't know what to dress up as.

but it turns out Halloween is against her religion.
Oh well.

Anyway I was talking about track and the coach was talking at Xing Jing about her potential and how she could be a finalist with special training.
Then she was apparently somewhat un-subtly telling him she really didn't care.

We were talking a lot.
But she was the one who got in trouble for it.
So she was mad at me.

Also Amanda and Ji Hyun and I seem to be starting a Xing Jing fanclub....even though I'm not actually a fan of hers?

Anyway according to popular belief, it can't be too hard to make up the members.

Oh well.

I borrowed forty cents from Amanda to make up the money I needed for ice peach tea.

This was because I paid for Vivian's ice blended.

It's not like I would have actually done anything useful with the money if I hadn't spent it.
