I have a friend who dressed up as a cactus.

it was kind of cool and kind of really random.



also Grease was awesome and I am very happy that I have an extension on my art project because I accidentally left it at school. (btw Ri-chan we need to meet up because there is a 'friend page' you have to fill in in this book thingy for art. and I forgot about it yesterday. =O)

the talent show was also quite awesomish


now I shall go off and stress over studying and some such similar rubbish.

so! Onion-san and Russell and I are meeting up at Swensen's next next tuesday for icecream.... which seems hopelessly (lol I typed 'homelessly') far away but still it's awesome that something is being scheduled. congrats on your poetic achievements, people!!

and Ri-chan is coming to SAS to watch Grease! on which day I will be all green and hopefully not scare everyone away.


today is free dress day. i heart my school.





however, today is also calculus test day, so i unheart it.

if I ever start listening to much Taylor Swift, somebody should confiscate my ipod. Both of my ipods.

both, you say? since when does edith have two ipods?


since this evening, in fact, when at my school's freshman night out i won the raffle and obtained a touchscreen ipod nano.

I am so lucky. and happy. three cheers for free ipods.



today was so long it felt like two days. so we can divide it into day 1, which was fairly awful, and day 2, which was awesome.

day 1 involved sleeping at midnight, waking up at half-past-six and chionging art project, stumbling disheveled and pastel-stained onto the bus, going to school and chionging art project, and generally doing a lot of stressing and being sleepy.

then school ended and day 2 began. in which I went home, found my grades online and celebrated, ate an icecream sundae Elizabeth made for me, rested, finished my English reading book, and took public transport to school in time for the Night Out.

there was dodgeball which i was not involved in, a movie which I was, and a raffle in which I won an ipod.

then I took the schoolbus to the american club to go home from and met interesting people.

overall, today was awesome. yay.

the telephone here at home rings so loudly and shrilly and annoyingly all of a sudden it's pretty much an alarm clock that one can't set the time on. -_____-

school starts tomorrow!

i have had an awesome holiday.

i went shopping a lot, climbed bukit timah hill, visited little india for lunch and to wander around, and went to sentosa at night.

so of course now it is obligatory for me to be depressed because the nice happy holiday ends tomorrow and i have still not done any of my art project work or whatever and ohh crap i have calculus homework stuff.

i am also mildly depressed because i didn't get around to organizing something big so i could see a lot of awesome people.

and and i didn't get to watch a movie! but there are no good movies right now really. it is all nc-16 comedies and horror movies and stuff. it must be movie off-season.

and the kids are all right has an r21 rating. really, people? -____-
in the US, it has an r. which means that under-17 people need a parental guardian to watch it. not OH LOOK LET'S BAN EVERYONE FROM WATCHING THIS.

okay, not everyone. but still!

although it's not even coming out (see what I did there? xD) until november.

i am starting to find Quinn very irritating and this just magnifies that by about a billion times. just when i'd decided that i rather liked Sam as a love interest for Kurt, too.
i mean, it's not necessarily bad or anything, it's just that compared to what could have been... it is just. so. blah.
and Brittany and Santana! ;________;

today ri-chan and I climbed bukit timah hill and went shopping.

now it is super-late and I am super-sleepy and wishing I had more holiday to do more awesome things

because today was VERY AWESOME




also I have been up late watching Monty Python sketches which is actually kind of depressing in the grand scheme of things.

although of course they are very awesomely awesome. just like today, and climbing bukit timah hill, and all sorts of other awesome things.



I am afraid I must confess to not being terrifically eloquent at the moment.

it being past 11pm and all.


so so much for that, I guess.

hi sorry this blog has been deaded

I have been faced with a murderous barrage of tests and quizzes that in fact is still in progress

but I get some brief respite because this is the weekend.


my friend Rachel has come to Singapore again- just like last week- and is currently sleeping. I am under orders to wake her up at 11am.

re: art project, Awa is looking simultaneously more human and more mutilated. I think I did a much better job on Maximilian.


I have a vacuole model project due on wednesday. ._____.
english summative assessment presentation tuesday.
bio test and calculus make-up test monday.

oh dear.


meanwhile nothing really interesting and worth blogging about has actually happened over here. given that I had a stomachache and missed the 309 outing and all. and then friday which was yesterday I took 22 minutes and walked down the entirety of sixth avenue. which was pretty pointless, but probably good for the health anyway.

have been busy-ish

got back the first half of my physics test, which was good; scared to get back the other half, which I know went badly.

had free lunch today because the newish people and our peer support buddies got pizza.

I have learnt to eat more tactfully: since all my friends are apparently vegetarian, I ate cheese pizza. tactful eating: learning not to wave pepperoni pizza in starving vegetarian-pizza-less vegetarian friends' faces. which was by accident anyway. ;___;

a side affect of me eating cheese pizza means I am actually in competition with them for resources, from a biological standpoint

but whatever, there was enough pizza anyway.

GSA meeting today was nice. =)

yay it is a beautiful morning

even if I still don't have all my homework under control

and also I woke up this morning to find a very soaked teddy bear on the floor in a puddle on the very soaked floor because it rained and the window leaked or something

happily Elizabeth's humanitarian instinct is strongest when confronted with a fluffy cloth bear or puppy in various stages of distress, so it got hairdryered and sundried to within an inch of its fluffy pink life and is now very much dry.

can I have a hooray?

if Sam and Kurt don't get an onscreen kiss at some point this season after Tina and Mike and Finn and Rachel and Carl and Emma have been kissing all over the screen already I am going to get very very annoyed
