I should probably start writing emo stuff.
EMO STUFF ALERT
I'm above the city, waiting, watching, as lights flicker below and interweaving voices bubble steadily upwards. There's an obsidian-dark building jutting up into the sky from the narrow street corner where it stands, reaching up as though to touch the clouds, but it can't. It can't touch the clouds, it'll never touch the clouds. It can't touch me.
And as I think to myself, watching from this dizzying height, a lone figure appears against the jet black of the roof and the dull black of the night. It's uncertain at first, but then its course becomes clear--it heads to the edge of the building, where the chrome railings glint steel-silver in the faint moonlight. It hoists itself up, in one smooth movement, and then- it falls.
Should I move, perhaps, to save the featureless figure falling out of the sky? Should I swoop downwards, gather it in my arms, sweep it up?
A feather twitches in my wing; a gust of wind blows it away, a somersaulting silhouette of ink against the sky.
The body hits the ground.
EMO STUFF OVER
And if you say my emo stuff isn't as pro as Yoru-senpai's, Vivi, just remember that he's had a lot more practice than I have. ^^
