As I'm sure I really don't need to remind anyone, it was the first day of school today.
=)

I turned up for math and chinese as usual.
but let's not dwell on that too much,
because I don't think anything of much import got taught in math
except for a bizarre detour in topic from mathematics to university education to teenage parenthood.
and then there was our usual two-hour-break
which passed rather depressingly
perhaps that's not the right word.
it implies overcast skies and hazy greyness and downcast drizzles
emptiness-inspiring, then.
like giving oneself over too far to hyperness and immaturity and the dearth of all intelligent thought
like giving way to a childish persona
and realising how very empty it makes one feel.

Why is it that back when I adopted this hyper mask
it was the one thing I needed
to put my life together
and be the center of my world for the first time ever
and gather up a bunch of misfits and live through the best years of my life
but now it's a habit I can't get rid of
that I can't stand
that I don't need
like a lead weight pulling me down?

Oh dear, I'm being emo again.
And like someone said on the tagboard, it can't be a good thing, not for the blog's health or for anything else for that matter.
But occasionally one simply needs to think about things.

And then, of course, there was Chinese, and I must have almost broken the plug thing, and I presented in an extremely fail manner, and I swear someone was laughing at me.
At least I prepared my presentation.

Physics group is meeting tomorrow afternoon after third language class.
At least, three quarters of us, because kuo xuan cannot make it.
I for one am hoping that calibrating the machine will prove to be moderately entertaining.
