today afternoon was so awesome

at first we couldn't find a spot to set up

and then for half an hour only about 3 people got cupcakes at all

and we were all AAAGH NOBODY IS BUYING CUPCAKES

but then after a while business really sped up

the people at the stall next door were advertising for us too

and then somebody got this random guy to play guitar and sing cupcake-advertising songs.

"Rainbow cupcakes are so gay~~~"

"Jesus loves gay people, so buy a cupcake!~~~"

that was really awesome. and hilarious. just the whole thing.

a lot of people I know bought cupcakes.

but then this guy at our stall asked this random guy to come over and buy some and he was all like NO WAY and then it was kind of offensive and kind of very depressing, but meh.

also there were lots and lots of parents and lots and lots of people buying cupcakes but only one or two parents buying cupcakes for their kids. and a lot of them sort of walked past and glanced at us and then looked away and obtained kind of wooden smiles on their faces.

and it is half-past-eleven so my typing is not exactly the most coherent kind of thing ever invented, so I shall fast forwards to the girls' volleyball game in which I do believe we got owned. the lights went out just before it was going to end and there was much uproar and flashing lights and music and by then Ri-chan and Isaac and Russell had joined me and we all went to the auxiliary gym and watched the last few minutes of the game and then went off to Swensen's and got ice cream, which was fun.

then we all took the MRT home and Isaac's parents gave me a lift home from Newton MRT which was very nice of them.

the cupcakes I took home are kind of irreparably squashed so we're giving away/selling the spare ones at home and keeping the squishified ones. =)

yay cupcakes..

I think the GSA is shaping up to be a Very Good Thing.
